WebLOCI™

It can be difficult to understand the benefits and costs when businesses move into or expand in your community.  WebLOCI™ fills the gap for local governments.

WebLOCI™ is a Web-based version of the nationally recognized local-government fiscal impact tool, LOCI™. Hundreds of chambers of commerce, economic development agencies/departments, consultants, and local governments have purchased a license for the software since 1998. Now, this valuable tool has been brought to the Web.

Traditional economic impact analysis tools look only at how your community benefits from new or expanding businesses. With WebLOCI™ software, you can estimate:

  • the fiscal costs and benefits of new and/or expanding businesses on your local government, and
  • an array of economic impacts, such as:
    • new employment
    • new income
    • new retail expenditures
    • new business formation

WebLOCI™ can estimate all of this for your city, county or other political jurisdiction – a much smaller geographic area than traditional economic impact analysis.

Join hundreds of licensed users throughout the country, from California to New York, and start using WebLOCI™ to help improve your community’s decision process.
