Frank Mewborn, P.E. Group Leader
As group leader for the Healthcare Performance Group in Georgia Tech's Enterprise Innovation Institute, Frank Mewborn works with healthcare providers to train employees and guide management through the implementation of state-of-the-art management techniques. He helps hospitals and other healthcare providers increase capacity, reduce costs and improve safety. As a member of Georgia Tech's research faculty for 24 years, his primary area of expertise is the application of lean principles to reduce waste and improve work flow.
Frank is a frequent speaker at state and national healthcare conferences. He recently conducted a four-hour workshop for the American Hospital Association's Rural Hospital Leadership Summit on applying lean principles in rural hospitals. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, Frank held industrial engineering and management positions with Reynolds Metals Company and Emery Worldwide. He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and a master's degree in industrial management from Georgia Tech. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Georgia.

Kelley Hundt Project Leader
Kelley Hundt is a project leader with the Healthcare Performance Group in Georgia Tech’s Enterprise Innovation Institute. She works with healthcare providers to train employees and guide management through the implementation of state-of-the-art management techniques. She also assists customers with information systems analysis and implementation, and develops educational workshops in such areas as supply chain and business planning, and control systems.
Prior to joining Georgia Tech, Kelley held positions with the Quaker Oats Company, Avery Dennison and Siemens in the areas of operations management, materials management and supply chain planning. She holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech, and an M.B.A. from the University of Memphis.

Jennifer Trapp-Lingenfelter Project Leader
Jennifer Trapp-Lingenfelter is a project leader with the Healthcare Performance Group in Georgia Tech’s Enterprise Innovation Institute. She works with healthcare providers to train employees and guide management through the implementation of state-of-the-art management techniques. She also coaches companies on improving their competitiveness through the implementation of lean principles.
Prior to joining Georgia Tech, Jennifer worked as a project manager for GROWTH Consulting and as a continuous improvement coordinator for Standard Products Company. She has been a practitioner of lean principles in industries ranging from tier-one automotive suppliers to healthcare providers. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and French from Adrian College in Adrian, Mich., and has studied at the Sorbonne University in Paris, France.
