Policy Services - Overview
Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Program
The Science, Technology and Innovation Program (STIP) is a new program of the Georgia Tech Enterprise Innovation Institute and the Georgia Tech School of Public Policy (announced in 2006). Our goal is to create an internationally recognized initiative focused on science, technology and innovation policies that are based on research and driven by economics.
We are developing a network that brings together Georgia Tech’s science, technology and economic development policy researchers with public service practitioners in the Enterprise Innovation Institute and across the state.
We connect with Georgia Tech faculty who have a broad range of expertise that is relevant to science and technology policy – expertise in public policy, economic development, economics, management, and engineering.

Innovation Forum
The Forum on Innovations in Economic Development brings together faculty, researchers, students, economic development practitioners, and policymakers to discuss leading-edge ideas and practices in economic development and spatial innovation policy. Established in 2004, the Forum meets three to four times per semester at Georgia Tech, usually in Technology Square. After formal presentations and discussions, the Forum often continues with informal social networking.
