EI2 Event Manager, Special Events Ieasha Jones, has been elected to serve on Georgia Tech’s Event Coordinators’ Network (ECN) executive board as the professional development chair for the 2026-27 academic year. The ECN is the gateway for students, faculty, and staff to coordinate events on campus.
In this role, Jones will work to provide educational services to event coordinators across campus, as well as to those from other colleges and universities in the University System of Georgia.
“I’m excited to create educational experiences that are practical, engaging, and forward thinking,” said Jones. “I look forward to exploring new resources and emerging tools while also connecting event professionals to the incredible expertise we have within EI2.”
Melissa Buchanan, financial compliance program manager for EI2 and Jones’ supervisor, supported her participation in the ECN.
“As Ieasha works to strengthen connections among event professionals across campus, she will also be raising the profile of the professionals who work at EI2,” said Buchanan. “She will do a great job in this important role.”
