The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion and economic advancement of the state’s tech industry, announced on Sept. 18 the finalists of its 2024 TAG Technology Awards. Georgia Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing (Georgia AIM) was named a finalist in the Tech for Good category. Georgia AIM is a program of the Georgia Institute of Technology and its Enterprise Innovation Institute that works to drive adoption of AI in U.S. manufacturing.

The TAG Technology Awards promote and celebrate the inclusive technology community across Georgia. Two other groups, Georgia Fintech Academy and Georgia Technology Authority, were named finalists alongside Georgia AIM.
“We are honored to be recognized by TAG and to be included in such innovative company,” said Donna Ennis, associate vice president of community-based engagement for the Enterprise Innovation Institute and co-director of Georgia AIM. “Thanks to the dedication of our partners across the state, Georgia AIM has already logged many success stories. Being named a TAG Technology Award finalist helps reinforce the impact of our good work.”
The 2024 TAG Technology Award winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Fox Theatre on Nov. 6.
