Who GaMEP Serves

GaMEP conducts project work for manufacturing plants throughout Georgia. With nine dedicated regional offices, GaMEP has project managers close to your facility. GaMEP also offers numerous open-enrollment professional-education training courses and custom training for manufacturing companies nationwide.

The GaMEP Difference

GaMEP is a state- and federally funded initiative, making it a cost-effective solution. Each GaMEP project manager has spent years working in industry, including many who have owned or operated their own manufacturing companies. As part of both a larger, national network of MEP centers and of Georgia Tech, GaMEP is able to provide you with connections to vast resources to ensure that your manufacturing company meets its individual goals.

GaMEP Economic Impact

This past year, the GaMEP worked with 1,770 manufacturers, resulting in:

  • $36 million in reduced operating costs.
  • $191 million in increased sales.
  • 950 jobs created or retained.

The Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership (GaMEP) is part of the Enterprise Innovation Institute (EI2) at Georgia Tech, which helps enterprises improve their competitiveness to significantly impact the economy. The GaMEP is a member of the National MEP network supported by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and has been serving Georgia manufacturers since 1960.
