Resurgence Grant Fund: Small Business Technical Assistance

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all aspects of our lives. It’s also affected Atlanta businesses including yours.

As Georgia Tech’s economic development arm, the Enterprise Innovation Institute (EI2) brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and expertise — as well as the resources and research at Georgia Tech to help you.

 

For recipients of the Resurgence Grant Fund, our Small Business Technical Assistance services range from providing comprehensive reviews of your business and strategic pivoting sessions, to building capacity and marketing, to training and financial analyses:

Option 1: Business Review and Pivot Strategy Sessions:

This is for business owners who want to review the current state of their business and think about future growth. Cost $2,500

 

 

Service package includes:

  • A one-page snapshot of company’s current and future state
  • A plan for market research to gain insights
  • A check up on the financial health of company
  • A strategic session to orient you towards the future and what comes next for your business
  • Introductions to free and affordable resources to help make it happen

Option 2: Capacity Building:

This is for business owners who want to plan for future growth. Cost $5,000

 

Service package includes:

  • A one-day strategy session with your leadership team
  • A review of your company’s Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT Analysis)
  • A review of your business processes and gaps with a focus on internal and external challenges the company is facing
  • A written report with outcomes, notes, action items, and recommendations
  • Up to 8 hours of follow up and coaching

Option 3: Business Financial Statement Literacy Review:

This is for business owners who want to improve their financial knowledge. Cost $2,500

 

Service package includes:

  • A 3-year historical financial statement review*
  • A prioritized list of recommendations for corrective actions (If needed)
  • SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) focused on financial statements

(*Clients must provide 2018 and 2019 year-end financial statements and 2020 year-to-date financial statements for this review.)

Option 4: Funding Ready vs. Risk Review:

This is for business owners who want to understand how to best prepare the company to access capital. Cost $5,000

 

Service package includes:

  • A 3-year historical financial statement review*
  • A prioritized list of recommendations for corrective actions (if needed)
  • A SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) focused on business financial statements
  • A Funding Ready vs. Risk assessment
  • A funding consultation
  • An inflection point funding strategy
  • Identification of one or more resources for accessing capital (if achievable)

(*Clients must provide 2018 and 2019 business tax returns, 2018 and 2019 year-end financial statements, and 2020 year-to-date financial statements for this review.)

Option 5: Marketing for Non-manufacturers:  This is for business owners who want to improve their marketing and communication materials. Cost $2,500

 

Service package includes:

  • a review of marketing collateral and presentation materials including pitch decks, capability statements, website, and two company proposals and feedback and recommendations for improvement

 

Option 6: Marketing for Manufacturers:

This is for manufacturers who want to grow their business through their current customer base and identify new business opportunities. Cost $5,000

Service package includes:

  • Creating levels of customers aimed at future growth and identifying attributes important to your company.
  • Developing a Customer Segmentation Model utilizing your customer, analyzing current customers, and identifying trends within your customers.
  • Strategic Marketing Plan to increase your sales through your current customer base using identified opportunities

Option 7: Marketing for Manufacturers:

This is for manufacturers who want to develop a strategic marketing effort to drive new business. Cost $2,500

Service package includes:

  • Strategic Marketing Planning Session to identify goals and tactics that will allow you to meet your goals.
  • Learning how to track and measure your tactics and make adjustments as needed.
